The excitement in my home during the UCLA games with Lew Alcindor and John Wooden was a electrifying. I later followed in my fathers footsteps and went to UCLA, sitting 2nd row center in ‘74 and ‘75 at all of the basketball games. You were warm and friendly when I greeted you on Bruin Walk. My Dad was a big fan of yours in the 60-70’s and passed that on to us kids. We were lonely Bruin fans in Lousville, KY. Luckily my sister listened the best and became a pretty good coach at Colorado utilizing a lot of your teaching principles.
